In the anime Seto held the millenium eye in like season 5, the memory world arc which led him to Egypt. Also he may not have wanted to be involved in the magic nonsense going around but he basically asked for it the moment he tore the 4th blue eyes white dragon card😂

years late to this video and arc-v has been over forever, but as someone who Loved anime yuuri and thought of him as my favorite character, I think a lot of yuuri fans (and well. most arc-v fans who liked those in the fusion dimension) liked theorizing. Like, the fandom as a whole LOVED theorizing, it was everywhere, but the fusion dimension was the last dimension we got to so that meant we had waaaay more time to just sit and ponder and make up backgrounds for characters. By the time fusion arrived we were all already pretty attached to whatever we made up. But then most of the fusion dimension characters never ended up with fleshed out pasts and... well. All we have left is our own theories, lol.

While I still think 5ds was my favorite, thinking about it, there was a lot of fun in GX and the emotional arcs were surprisingly deep

GX was WILD but I very much adore it for trying to take risks and be whacky but also exploring some REALLY heavy themes. By the end of it I felt so bad for Judai, but I was glad to see him start his path of healing. Don't kill me, but GX is probably second of my favorites. My first being 5D's, only because I felt it was a much more cohesive story IMO, which is something I value a little bit more in the stories I like to embark on. But for the most part I agree with damn near everything you said, except that it is the best Yugioh series lol

I'd say personally what made Yugioh GX stand out as a much better series is that it knew how to cut down on the seriousness and let the story flow more casually. The original Yugioh series was almost always serious and had little time for more humor, jokes, or just having fun. The original also had major filler problems with how it made almost every important duel 5 parters. As such, if you didn't want to forget anything, you needed to shit down and watch nearly 2 hours of a content for multiple duels. Yes, GX has filler as well, but the filler is designed specifically to lighten the mood, not waste the viewers time. And it's done purely for the fun of it rather than making up another serious challenge or mess. Plus, the overall filler was significantly shorter and only really was a problem in the original season with each season cutting it out for stronger plots. It works so much better than constant action or constant seriousness. I think that overall gives it a wider pull on the viewership making the show overall more fun and enjoyable for everyone.

I could forgive everything in arc v up to zarc coming back It just went so wrong after that What i was hoping for was a 4 way internal duel between the yu boys and zarc where they fight to become their own people again. Meanwhile zarc on the outside could still have duels with some of the cast until actual rey shows up and beats him at the same time as the yu boys inside him. Then afterwards the dimensions merge and everyone can see each other whenever. They hold the same tournament at the end and eventually its yuya vs reiji and yuya gets lent the 3 other dragons for his duel so we still get the cool odd eyes dragon variants from the duel. I hate thinking of what could have been Worst ending But id watch it all again instead of sevens and go rush tbh
